Copy Text from Image is a Chrome extension by Raegent that reads text from images on your computer.

Text recognition happens on your device. Screenshots, images, and recognized text are never uploaded. Raegent never receives them.

The only network request the extension makes is to our payment provider, Dodo Payments. It activates a license key and occasionally confirms the key is still valid. The request contains only the license key and a device label such as “Chrome on Mac”.

The free-capture count and your license key are stored locally in your browser. The extension sends no telemetry.

Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments under its own policy. The purchase confirmation page on this website is excluded from website analytics.
